  • On the beach: Biology field trip

    It was a small miracle of organisation, but our Lower Sixth Biologists relished a chance to work back in the field again.  Over thirty pupils joined the Biology Field Trip at the Field Studies Council’s centre at Slapton Ley, in South Devon.  They took full advantage of the varied habitat – they studied microhabitats in the streams, surveyed the famous shingle ridge, and collected data on ecological succession. And the sun shone...
