Bursaries
Thank you for your interest in bursaries at King’s High School. Our bursary fund embodies the school's aims and values. It is an inspired initiative that will help ensure the benefits of a King’s High education continues to be available to as wide a community as possible, regardless of their means. Increasing the number of bursaries on offer will have a positive impact on the future education at King’s High, by promoting diversity, opportunity and inclusiveness.
We currently fund a small number of bursaries for less than 10% of pupils. Funds are generated through local charitable trusts, income from our sports and commercial activities and increasingly through donations from our community of Old Girls and Landor community. But we need to do more.
Demand for a King’s High education continues to increase – we currently receive twice as many applications for bursaries than funding allows. Inevitably we have to turn some girls away. We have a duty to aim higher and to open our doors to as many deserving girls as possible. With our compassionate community of over 4,000 Old Girls around the world we are confident we can achieve our goal.
