Friday Afternoon Activity Programme

The acclaimed Friday Afternoon Activities Programme creates the opportunity for every King’s High pupil in Year 9 and above to participate in one of a range of varied and valuable co-curricular activities intended to extend and enrich their education. These co-educational activities are undertaken in conjunction with Warwick School and The Kingsley School.  This year, 82 different activities have been offered to students.  They are literally spoilt for choice!

Over 260 co-curricular clubs and activities are on offer at lunchtime and after school.

We encourage girls to participate in order to develop personal interests, broaden their horizons and develop artistically, socially and creatively.  Girls can pursue their own interests, and discover new ones, while making new friends from other forms and year groups. Staff also offer a range of subject workshops for support at all ages.

We offer some activities, such as Climbing, Orchestra, Choir and Drama, in association with Warwick School, and the  Friday Afternoon Activities for Year 9 and above  - that include  everything from Amnesty, to Golf, Improv, Canoeing, Joy, Volunteering, Shakespeare Society and Cooking for University - are shared with the students of Warwick School and Kingsley School.

Co-curricular activities are booked on a termly basis using the website www.misocs.com. It can be accessed using your daughter's school email address and the password you have set up for the site. Clubs are booked on a termly basis using this system.

‘Pupils’ exceptional achievements cross a very wide range of academic, creative and sporting activities.’
