Our Quad was filled with autumnal sunshine as King's High marked Remembrance Day 2023 with a poignant ceremony on Friday 10 November. Head Master, Dr Burley, gave a moving reading of 'For the Fallen' by Laurence Binyon and Polly in Lower Sixth played the Last Post before we observed two minutes' silence. The Combined Cadet Force - one of the largest girls' Corps in the country - formed a Guard of Honour and conducted a superb parade, and wreaths were laid on behalf of our school.
