Year 10 and 11 girls visit the new Sixth Form Centre
Celia Tedd, Head of Key Stage 4, reports: ‘Year 10 and 11 girls have this week paid an historic visit to the new shared Sixth Form space. Following the school photo down at the Myton Road campus, Key Stage 4 flung open the doors and were free to explore the brand new building that will shortly be their home. The balcony with its spectacular views across the Project One Campus building site proved a special draw, and there were plenty of ideas about how to furnish the wonderfully sunny spot (though we might have to draw the line at a wood-fired pizza oven). Girls and staff were equally excited about the new opportunities that the new buildings bring, and for the year 11s the visit ties in closely with their work on future directions, including their hot-seating event with recent Old Girls, and careers interviews.’
