Support for life after Sixth Form

Degree Apprenticeships

The leavers’ destinations and pathways of our Upper Sixth students are deeply impressive. Whilst many of our students go on to top Russell Group Universities, a number have taken up exciting degree apprenticeships. Over recent years these have included Deloitte, Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology, Santander and Barclays.

Degree apprenticeships are rapidly gaining popularity as an alternative to traditional university education and are typically funded by employers. They combine academic study with practical, on-the-job training, allowing students to earn a degree while gaining valuable work experience at the same time. This dual approach enhances employability, as graduates emerge with both a degree and several years of relevant work experience.

“Ms Gilbert provided me with a lot of support. She helped me prepare for interviews and find a suitable apprenticeship pathway for me.”

Global Universities

The Warwick Schools Foundation Global Universities Programme helps students across the Foundation with information and application support for university degree programmes outside the UCAS process. Our Foundation International University Counsellor works with interested students and families to offer guidance throughout the process and to develop a personalised approach to explore global pathways to help students find their 'best fit' options for the next steps in their growth.
