Today, the King’s High community gathered to pay our respects on Armistice Day. Dr Burley read Laurence Binyon’s For the Fallen, followed by Polly’s moving performance of The Last Post before we observed two minutes' silence.

The Combined Cadet Force - one of the largest girls' Corps in the country - formed a Guard of Honour and conducted a superb parade, and wreaths were laid on behalf of our school, in remembrance of those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom.
